In collaboration with the Climate Agency, the Ministry of Economy officially launched the site "energieauer.lu" on 29 July.
This platform allows users to analyse and better understand energy development in Luxembourg through various graphs.
These graphs provide data on electricity consumption and production, natural gas usage, as well as the evolution of solar and wind energy. Additionally, the site offers forecasts for national electricity demand and the number of public charging stations.
Minister Lex Delles expressed his satisfaction with the launch: "The development of renewable energies is a priority for this government. Thanks to the energieauer.lu platform, everyone can monitor the progress towards the ambitious objectives set in the national energy and climate plan. It's an important tool that enhances transparency and encourages public engagement in the energy transition."
The energieauer.lu site highlights essential indicators related to Luxembourg's integrated national energy and climate plan (PNEC), encouraging active participation in the energy transition. The platform provides daily updates on:
- Consumption and import of electricity
- Consumption and import of natural gas
- Electricity production in Luxembourg
- Evolution of solar and wind energy
- Production of biogas
- Forecasts of national electricity demand
- Number of public charging points in Luxembourg
