Police were called to the main street in Hosingen on Thursday night following reports of a seriously injured man.
According to initial information, an argument between the victim and another individual broke out inside a café before escalating into a physical confrontation on the street outside. The victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
The perpetrator fled the scene and has not yet been located. A police investigation has been launched.
