Police have reported two burglaries in their latest bulletin: one attempted on Tuesday evening and another carried out on Wednesday morning.
On Tuesday evening, an attempted burglary took place in Hesperange at a house on Rue d'Itzig. An unknown individual managed to break into the cellar but failed to gain access to the interior of the property.
Early on Wednesday morning, a burglary was committed at a school building on Rue Glesener in the Gare neighbourhood of Luxembourg City. A cash box was stolen.
Investigations have been launched in both cases. In connection with the incidents, police are reminding the public of their prevention advice on how to protect against burglaries.
