An unusual accident unfolded in Kirchberg this Monday morning as a bus hit a lamppost, blocking the tram tracks.
Tram circulation was partly disrupted this Monday morning as a bus hit a lamppost in Kirchberg on Boulevard John F. Kennedy.
Police said a technical issue had caused the bus's brakes to malfunction, leading the vehicle to roll onto the tram tracks without a driver.
Regular traffic was impacted by the incident and drivers were advised to avoid the area. Tram passengers were also affected by delays as a result. The incident was declared to have been cleared just before midday.
