The votes are in!Here are the Luxembourgers of the year

RTL Today
Like every year, we opened nominations - and then a public vote - for Luxembourger of the year. Here's who you chose to honour for 2023.

The title of (male) Luxembourger of the year 2023 goes to sports enthusiast Georges Klepper. He was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) in 2015, which stopped him from playing sports like he used to. However, his passion is still intact and that is why he has spent the last two years working with a whole team of colleagues on his book, in which 140 years of Luxembourg sport are traced.

Your (female) Luxembourger of the year 2023 is Jakkie Paulus, who works with young adults. She is also involved with the CGDIS as a volunteer employee of the Psychological Support Group (GSP). Since January 1, Jakkie Paulus has been the first woman to head the GSP Group and receives the award on behalf of the entire team.

Jakkie Paulus has worked with GSP for more than 8 years.
