The latest reports from emergency services confirm that multiple people were injured in road accidents that happened between Saturday and Sunday.

A motorcyclist suffered a fall on the CR320 between Hoscheid and Merscheid at 5pm on Saturday. He lost control over his vehicle in a turn and was subsequently thrown against a road sign and a tree. He was transported to a hospital via rescue helicopter and received emergency surgery. Police later announced that the man was in stable condition.

A person was hit by a car and injured on Rue de Soleuvre in Differdange at 7pm. Emergency services were called to the scene to provide assistance.

Two cars collided on Rue du Bouillon in Hollerich at 8.15pm and left just as many people injured.

A drink driver caused an accident in Doennange at 9pm. Although nobody was injured, police filed a complaint as the driver lacked valid insurance papers.

A motorcyclist and a car collided in Merl at 10.40pm. Nobody was injured.

Another collision involving two cars happened on the A13 motorway, direction Schengen. Nobody was injured.

Police were alerted to a reckless driver on the A6 motorway during the early Sunday morning hours. Officers eventually caught up with the motorist on the A3 and subjected him to an alcohol test, which he failed. They also found that he lacked insurance papers and already had a driving ban. They thus arrested him and presented him to an examining magistrate later on Sunday. The vehicle was seized.

Another pedestrian was hit by a car and injured in Pétange at 6.20am on Sunday.

A motorcycle and a car collided in Mullerthal later on Sunday. One person was injured.

Finally, one person suffered injuries when a car overturned on Rue d’Itzig in Hesperange at 4.22pm.
