Nicolas Didier, the president of the Luxembourg Science Center, is set to appear in court on 21 June over allegations related to his private company, GGM11, which was working for the Science Center.

A spokesperson for the public prosecutor's office confirmed this information to RTL.

The Ministry of Education and the Ministry for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises brought the matter to the attention of the public prosecutor's office earlier this year upon discovering that GGM11 did not have a valid establishment permit.

In recent years, the Ministry of Education had provided subsidies to the Luxembourg Science Center under a formal agreement. However, due to governance issues, the agreement has since been terminated.

The Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) has also lodged a complaint with the public prosecutor's office. The exact nature of the complaint was not disclosed. The IGF examined the financial flows between the Science Center and Nicolas Didier's private company.
