The Belgian motorcyclist was driving in the direction of Wemperhardt when he collided with a car crossing his lane. The impact of the collision severely injured the 34-year-old who later died at the scene.
The road section was shut to traffic following the accident and a forensics team was later deployed to determine the course of events. The road will be closed again for further investigation at 3pm on Sunday.
