Police Drug dealers and muggers arrested on Saturday

RTL Today
The latest police reports show that four people were arrested on Saturday and that two burglaries occurred over the course of the weekend.

Police identified a presumed drug dealer in the capital’s Gare area on Saturday morning. They arrested him by order of the prosecutor’s office and confiscated undisclosed amounts of cocaine and cannabis, among other things.

In the afternoon, authorities arrested another presumed drug dealer, this time in Kirchberg. Since officers suspected that the man had swallowed prohibited substances, they took him to a hospital for an examination. Their suspicions were confirmed and they seized a number of drug packages. Police then arrested the suspect, who had to face an examining magistrate on Sunday.

Around 3pm, a person was mugged by two unknown perpetrators in Howald. Police were able to identify two suspects soon after and recovered the victim’s stolen phone. Officers thus arrested both suspects and presented them to an examining magistrate.

Police further report burglaries in Weiler-la-Tour and Alzingen, which occurred at some point between Friday evening and Sunday morning.
