The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) initially sent two experts to Turkey to help with operations on the ground. One was in charge of information and communication technology, the other of logistics. Both helped keep telecommunication services working after the earthquakes.

A relief team was sent to Turkey later in February, and a third team is now on its way. A respective statement has indicated that the HIT members will be regularly switched to reduce their physical and psychological stress levels.
