Police have confirmed that a minor traffic incident occurred outside Bettembourg station on Tuesday afternoon at around 2.30pm, involving a bus that scraped a wall.

According to a police spokesperson, the bus made contact with the wall while manoeuvring. An image sent to RTL shows the bus positioned at an angle with a police vehicle nearby.

The police could not verify a listener’s claim to RTL Radio that the station had been “evacuated”. They clarified that the bus had only temporarily blocked the street, necessitating a traffic diversion until it was removed.

No injuries were reported, but the bus sustained damage in the incident.
