Temperatures on Sunday are expected to stay elevated, but the evening will also bring about storms set to affect the entire country.
Temperatures are set to remain elevated on Sunday, but they will not go as high as yesterday. Still, the national weather service has issued another heat warning, which will be in place until 8pm tonight. Highs of up to 32°C are expected throughout the day.
Meteolux has further issued a storm warning for tonight, forecasting hail, rain, and wind gusts from 10pm onwards. Temperatures are also set to go down over the coming days.
The government has issued a reminder that people should not waste drinking water, fill up pools, or wash their cars.
In Luxembourg City, the 'Cancer Foundation' has set up four stations where people can get sun blocker in case they forgot theirs. They can be found in the parks located in the City centre, Pétrusse, Merl, and Kirchberg.
