Police revoked the licenses of two drink drivers over the weekend, and were further called into action in relation to a burglary in Olm.
At some point on Friday night, a burglar entered a family home on Rue de Capellen in Olm. Authorities believe that the perpetrator may have entered the building via the terrace. A forensics team was later sent to the scene of the crime.
At 6pm on Saturday, police encountered a drink driver on Rue Notre Dame in Luxembourg City. Officers initially stopped the man for speeding, but then found that he was also drunk. Police thus revoked his driving license.
At 6.30am on Sunday, police stopped another drunk motorist on the A4 motorway for zigzag driving. The man tested positive for both alcohol and drugs, which is why officers also revoked his license.
