Luxembourg City will host an international skateboarding competition this July - and RTL Today will be there to cover it!

LXB Street will be held on the weekend of 8-10 July in Kirchberg.

A special venue will be set up around the Philharmonie, incorporating two separate custom-made skate runs, food and drink stalls and a cultural area.

The three-day event will be jam-packed with exciting features.

Things will kick off on Friday 8 July with an open skate session and an amateur best trick competition. On the Saturday and Sunday mornings, free skate lessons will be available for any budding Tony Hawks or Sky Browns.

And then there's the main event on the Saturday and Sunday afternoon: a high-quality international competition with some of Luxembourg and Europe's biggest names in action.

Alongside all the action will be a range of accompanying cultural exhibitions, street food stalls and concerts. Saturday night will also feature the annual End of Season Party at the Philharmonie, one of the Grand Duchy's biggest nighttime events.

RTL Today will be the official media partner for LXB Street, and we can't wait to see what's in store.

This will be the third edition of the event, which was last held in 2018 at the Pétrusse Skatepark with 7,500 people attending and 50 skaters from 12 countries in competition.
