RTL Today - Near Ettelbruck: Car and van collide on B7, two people lightly injured

An accident occurred shortly before 10.00 p.m. on Sunday evening on the B7, which had to be closed off in both directions after the crash.

The accident took place when a car coming from Luxembourg City drove over to the opposing lane and crashed into an oncoming van. Following the impact, the car slid an estimated 100 metres before coming to a halt.

Even though both vehicles were completely destroyed in the collision, the police report that both drivers only suffered light injuries in the accident.

The stretch remained closed for two hours to allow emergency service teams to clear the road.
