Two incidents on Kinnekswiss in Luxembourg City were reported to the police on Thursday evening.
A young woman, who was accompanied by an acquaintance, was threatened by two girls and a young man at around 9 pm. One of the girls hit the young woman until the person accompanying her gave them cash, after which the three perpetrators fled. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Another incident took place between 9 and 9.30 pm, when another two young women were attacked by three girls who tried to steal their bags. When one of the young women screamed for help after being thrown to the ground, the three girls ran away. Again, one person was slightly injured.
In both cases, none of the alleged perpetrators were found. The victims have filed a complaint and the police are investigating.
