The administrative court has confirmed the annulment of two development plans by affirming the appeals of Kirchberg residents.
The capital's general development plan (PAG) has thus been partially annulled.
Both the appeal against the development plan "Schëttermarjal" and the appeal against the "Kennedy Sud" neighbourhood planned between avenue John F. Kennedy and Weimershof were affirmed.
This decision calls the entire urbanisation of several hectares of Kirchberg into question. The main reason for the annulment of these development plans is the failure to comply with environmental impact procedures. The court decision also annulled the respective authorisations issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of the Environment.
