The sixth and final phase of the government's campaign has begun, with all remaining residents between the age of 16 and 54 becoming eligible for the Covid-19 vaccine.

Last week, the Ministry of Health announced that the vaccination campaign is entering its final phase. All residents between the age of 16 and 54 can now expect to receive an invitation to get their first jab. Upon enquiry, the Ministry of Health confirmed that the first series of invitations have already been sent. They continue to rely on the same approach of inviting older people first.

In the invitation letter, people will receive instructions on how to book a vaccination appointment in one of the country's specialised centres.

In parallel to this "classic" system, around 18,000 people have already registered for the voluntary AstraZeneca injection. A second anti-waste list has also been established, allowing people to register for short-notice appointments to get a leftover vaccine dose at the end of the day.
