The A7 motorway will be closed between Colmar-Berg and Ingeldorf on Saturday 18 January for urgent work.
The motorway (and B7 road after Ettelbruck) will be closed in both directions between 8.30 am and 5 pm. The cause of the closure is urgent work on the 'Ditgesbaach' site adjacent to the route.
The roads and bridges authority will also take the opportunity of the closure to carry out maintenance work on the route.
Detours will be in place. Motorists coming from Fridhaff will have to follow the B7 and change to the N7 at the Ingeldorf junction, and follow the road through Ettelbruck and Schieren to return to the A7 at Colmar-Berg.
Northbound drivers will have to exit the motorway at Colmar-Berg and follow the N7 towards Ettelbruck to the Ingeldorf junction.
