
A total of 53 lorries were inspected at the Wasserbillig petrol station. Their technical condition, amongst other things, were investigated.
Police issued 56 tickets.
27 drivers had not complied with driving time regulations. Other infractions included failure to properly secure the lorry's load and faulty tyres.
A number of vehicles were not allowed to continue their journey.
It was not the first time that Luxembourg and German authorities collaborated on this procedure - they have done so regularly since the 2008 "Freisener Gespräche".
