The incident happened in the Cité Henry Grey. The man, from an external company, was working on a power line when he received a fatal electric shock.
For the 45-year-old worker from France, any assistance arrived too late. He died on the spot.
ITM (the inspectorate of labour and mines) and police were on the scene to determine the underlying causes behind the accident.
