The multi-talented Damon Albarn – a founding member of Blur, of The Good, The Bad & The Queen, and the virtual group Gorillaz – loves unwinding in Iceland. This Friday he invites his audience to a musical tour of the island nation’s glacial landscapes. Inspired by the extraordinary variety of Icelandic landscapes, Albarn developed his very personal project "The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows", a title borrowed from the English romantic John Clare. Unfolding an almost orchestral richness of sound, Albarn uses music as a medium to trace the transience of time and the fragility of nature.

What: Noticing one's surroundings
Where:
38 Av. Charlotte, 4530 Differdange, Luxembourg - Google Maps
When: Saturday, 26 February between 10am-1pm - more info

Most times when we walk somewhere we either think about reaching our destination, or we're in a rush, not really observing the journey or our surroundings. In this walking workshop, led by walking artist Alisa Oleva, the group will spend time listening, walking, observing, noticing, and sharing. How does the city move us and how do we move it? Where is the place where you can see everyone but no one can see you? How long can you follow a line, or a stranger? What are the routes you take every day? Where would you really like to go?
