As has become tradition, Gast Waltzing kicks off the year by crossing musical borders. At his side: the Estro Armonico Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra, Ivorian singer Dobet Gnahoré, and her band. A Grammy winner with a commanding stage presence, Gnahoré channels the creative pulse of Abidjan, weaving Manding melodies, Congolese rumba, Ivorian ziglibiti, and Cameroonian bikutsi into her sound. Modern meets traditional in a pan-African concert that’s all about exchange, energy, and shared moments on New Year’s Day.

The end-of-year tradition is The Rocky Horror Show, Richard O’Brien’s cult musical that’s been getting audiences on their feet for five decades. When straight-laced Brad and Janet break down outside a suspicious mansion, they stumble into a night of glitter, mischief, and mayhem hosted by the unforgettable Dr Frank-N-Furter. Directed by Christopher Luscombe, this is less a sit-back-and-watch show than a full-blown party, fuelled by immortal singalongs like Sweet Transvestite, Dammit Janet, and the inevitable Time Warp. Dress up, loosen up, and don’t expect normal!
