IACAL is dedicated to preserving and promoting Indian culture in Luxembourg through a wide range of spiritual and cultural initiatives. By bringing together devotees and members of the wider community, the association aims to make meaningful connections while encouraging individuals to remain rooted in their cultural and spiritual heritage.
Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam, which symbolises the divine wedding of Lord Venkateswara (Balaji), is regarded as one of the most auspicious ceremonies in Hindu tradition. The ritual is believed to bestow blessings of harmony, prosperity and spiritual well-being upon participants and their families.
The programme will commence in the morning with Suprabatha Seva from 8.30am to 9am, followed by Thomala Seva until 9.30am. Morning Archana will then be performed, leading into the main Kalyanam ceremony from 10.30am to 1.30pm. This central ritual will include the presentation of Vedha Vastram and will form the spiritual highlight of the day.
Further archana will take place in the early afternoon, while the evening programme will feature Sahasra Deepalankarana and Unjala Seva from 5pm to 6pm. This segment, marked by the lighting of numerous lamps, offers a serene and visually striking devotional experience. The day will conclude with Pavalimpu Seva in the evening.
Prasadam and theertham will be distributed to devotees throughout the event. Registration is currently open, and IACAL invites all interested individuals to take part in this spiritually enriching and culturally significant celebration. For registration, sponsorship or further information, participants are encouraged to visit the IACAL website or contact the association directly.
