You've already got the monthly What's On picks for family, but it's time you get the low-down. Here are our top favourites for this week!
Monday
It’s Easter Monday, and that means it’s time for Éimaischen in Luxembourg City – one of the most Luxembourgish traditions you could experience! Wander through the historic old town as local artisans sell colourful, handmade bird whistles and other crafts. It’s a wonderful blend of history, culture, and springtime spirit.
Tuesday
Take your little performers to Ettelbruck for Wir spielen Theater at CAPE. This in-class theatre workshop helps kids explore movement, voice, and emotion through creative games and acting exercises.
Wednesday
In Bettembourg, parents and little ones can take part in a heartwarming Picturebook Workshop at Eltereforum. You’ll use family photos to design a personalised book for your baby – a beautiful keepsake and bonding activity.
If you’re in Luxembourg City, Villa Vauban is hosting a Guided Tour for Parents and Babies – a calming, baby-friendly museum visit where you can enjoy art together in a relaxed setting.
Thursday
Time to play with light and shadow at Mudam! The Tales and Shadows workshop invites kids to craft their own shadow puppets and explore storytelling through silhouettes and light.
Friday
At Kulturhaus Niederanven, kids can get crafty with Fimo Ouerréng, a fun and quirky workshop where they’ll design earrings out of Fimo clay – from cupcakes to game controllers.
Saturday
Big energy and good vibes at Den Atelier in Luxembourg City with City Party – a youth-focused music night where teens aged 12–17 can dance to live local acts.
Earlier in the day at Kulturhaus Niederanven, kids can join the sweet and summery Ice Cream Bag workshop – a sewing session where they’ll make a backpack shaped like an ice cream cone.
Sunday
There's a full day of family fun waiting for you at the Familljefestival at the Philharmonie in Luxembourg. Expect circus-themed concerts, hands-on musical activities, and surprises around every corner.
And in Bonnevoie, head to Place du Parc for Mini picelectronic am Park – an easygoing spring day with music, creative stations, and chill picnic vibes in the park.
See you next week for more info on what's going on in Luxembourg! And you can see all of the events happening in the month of April here.
