Frame crafts at Villa Vauban
Villa Vauban – Musée d’Art de la Ville de Luxembourg invites children and families to a creative morning workshop in the museum’s gardens.
Participants will design and decorate their own wooden photo frames, a playful way to preserve memories from the summer months. Guided by facilitators, children are encouraged to let their creativity flow and produce a unique, personal piece of art to take home.
The event is designed as a relaxed, hands-on activity rather than a formal art class, offering an opportunity for children to experiment, play, and express themselves.

The National Museum of Natural History invites audiences to discover the hidden stories of nature within the city.
Through myths, legends, and contemporary tales, storyteller Luisa Bevilacqua will guide participants on a journey into the vibrant life that emerges even in the most unexpected places. Her performance offers a hopeful perspective on the resilience and beauty of the natural world, encouraging us to notice, breathe, and protect what sustains us.
Luisa Bevilacqua is a freelance storyteller based between Brussels and Luxembourg, and co-founded the association ERZIELKONSCHT with Betsy Dentzer in 2021, dedicated to promoting the diversity of storytelling.
Suitable for audiences aged 16 and above.

Brooch craft workshop
Musée Dräi Eechelen invites children to explore the exhibition and take inspiration from the artworks on display.
Participants will then create their own unique brooch – whether a proud lion or the initial of their name – to wear on a T-shirt or backpack. The workshop encourages children to unleash their creativity and design a personal accessory to take home.

The daily life of a zoo keeper at Parc Merveilleux
Parc Merveilleux invites children to join the zoo keepers in their daily work and discover the different aspects of their job.

Move and play: Summer edition
Eltereforum invites parents and children to join in a morning of play and movement together.
Activities include playing, dancing, building, hiding, relaxing, and discovering – with plenty of opportunities for parents and children to connect, laugh, and meet new friends.

Bird box: Children’s workshop
LUCA – Luxembourg Center for Architecture invites children to take part in a creative discovery workshop inspired by the exhibition Lived Threshold Spaces: Toward Cohabitation in Architecture.
Designed for ages 5 to 9, the workshop introduces children to architecture and construction through a playful, hands-on activity. Participants will build a small wooden hut – light as a feather – to feed the birds in their garden, while learning about coexistence, nature, and habitats.
Using wooden sticks, glue, and natural materials, children will create their own “spring house”, developing fine motor skills, curiosity, and imagination, while discovering the basic principles of architecture and craftsmanship.

Betti and Litti : Interactive show
LUGA presents Betti and Litti Playing with Trash, an interactive theatre performance for children.
The story follows Litti, who at first does not respect her environment, and her neighbour Betti, who shows her how to live in harmony with nature. Led by an actress, the show introduces children to the principles of waste reduction, recycling, and reuse, with animated characters bringing the lessons to life.
Designed for children aged 6 to 12, the performance offers a playful introduction to the concept of zero waste.
