Villa Plage: Tricot sur l’herbe – Creative knitting sessions in the garden of Villa Vauban

Mamie et Moi invites visitors to enjoy an afternoon of creativity and community in the garden of Villa Vauban. Inspired by the work of Luxembourgish artist François Gillen, participants can contribute to a collaborative knitted mosaic, using materials provided on site.

These gatherings are designed as open social sessions rather than structured knitting classes, encouraging attendees to help each other with assembling their squares and to share their finished creations with Mamie et Moi and Villa Vauban. Families are welcome, with children able to join if accompanied by an adult.

The event is part of the summer-long Villa Plage programme, offering informal cultural activities in the heart of Luxembourg City.

Organised by Mamie et Moi with the support of Villa Vauban.
