Just over a month ago our journalist Isabella Eastwood interviewed Beth Ditto, lead singer of Gossip. The group’s combo of funk-punk with soulful indie touches has seen them tour since 1999, releasing three hugely successful albums to date.
Besides playing top-notch shows, including the closing slot at Glastonbury, their hit “Heavy Cross” was certified triple gold in Germany.
In February 2016, Ditto confirmed the split of Gossip, but she announced the band’s return earlier this year to celebrate the 10th anniversary of “Music for Men”.
