The event saw U16 and U18 girls from RCL, St. George’s, and Germany come together at Stadium Josy Barthel for a day of competitive and spirited rugby.
Despite the chilly weather, the young athletes demonstrated remarkable determination and passion for the game, with every player giving their best on the field. The tournament created a vibrant and supportive atmosphere, where players from all teams not only competed but also formed new friendships, showcasing the true spirit of the sport.
"It was an unforgettable day of rugby", said Giulia Iannucci, Head of RCL Girlz.
The day was filled with exciting matches and standout performances, with coaches, parents, and supporters alike applauding the dedication and effort shown by the players. The event was hailed as a resounding success, reflecting the growth of the sport in the region and the rising talent in youth rugby.
St George's coach Scott Browne added: “We are thrilled with how the event turned out and are excited to see the future of girls’ rugby in Luxembourg.
