In the Ukrainian Premier League, Olivier Thill and his teammates from FC Vorskla Poltava won 2:0 against FC Metalist. The Luxembourgish footballer was in the starting eleven and played a total of 89 minutes.

In the Dutch Eredivisie, Laurent Jans and Mica Pinto played for Sparta Rotterdam. On Saturday, they drew 1:1 against Heracles Almelo, which means the wait for the first win of the season continues. Pinto was part of the starting eleven, while Jans came on as a substitute in the 70th minute.
