Patrizia Van der Weken sprinted to sixth in the 100m at the Diamond League meet in Oslo with a time of 11.10 seconds. In the final at 9.12pm on Wednesday evening, it was Julien Alfred of St Lucia who took the win in 10.76 seconds. The podium was completed by Britain's Amy Hunt (10.99) and New Zealand's Zoe Hobbs (11.03).
Van der Weken had been in action in Stockholm just a few days earlier. The 26-year-old Luxembourger finished third at the Diamond League meeting in Sweden in a time of 11.05 seconds.
