Van der Weken came sixth in Wednesday's 100-metre final of the Diamond League Meeting in Oslo, clocking in at 11.10 seconds. After the race, the Luxembourgish athlete told RTL it had been a difficult race, yet did not shy away from criticising her own performance.

Although she got off to a good start, she said she started to overthink, which is often fatal. Given her current form however, the performance was acceptable.

Luxembourg's athlete of the year went on to explain that evening races were not her preference, especially in cooler northern climes, and said she'd had some physical niggles as well. She said she knew she can run faster times and hopes to remain in good physical condition. Next she will focus on analysing her races with her trainer, Arnaud Stauck, who was absent from the Oslo event.
