Georges Mischo Resigns, Missing Teenager and Europe backing Zelensky
Georges Mischo resigns as Labour and Sports Minister
PM Luc Frieden has announced the resignation of Labour and Sports Minister Georges Mischo, with the Christian Social People’s Party now looking for a successor
According to Frieden, Mischo had been subjected to “hurtful and unfair” criticism in recent weeks that prevented him from completing his portfolios in a calm and objective manner.
The Grand Duke has already been notified of the government reshuffle, with Marc Spautz set to take over as Labour Minister, while Martine Hansen has been named as new Sports Minister. Frieden also noted that with Spautz taking over as Minister, a new faction president will have to be decided on within the CSV ranks.
