In a press release published Monday, Europa Donna Luxembourg announced that Fraentreff Luerentzweiler had presented a donation of €3,000 on 14 November. The funds, raised through various activities organised by the club over the years, will support the association’s efforts in the fight against breast cancer.

Founded in 1994, Fraentreff Luerentzweiler has regularly organised events for its approximately 40 members, including theatre and cinema visits, bowling evenings, cultural day trips in Luxembourg and abroad, lectures, hikes, and wellness activities.

Each year, the group has hosted a community event for Lorentzweiler residents; initially children’s theatre, and later performances or cabaret featuring both Luxembourgish and international artists. Fashion shows in collaboration with Alzette valley shops and cooking classes were also part of the programme.

The donation will help Europa Donna Luxembourg continue funding supportive therapies that complement traditional breast cancer treatments. These measures are intended to ease the burden on patients and provide support throughout their recovery.

The statement concluded with the association thanking Fraentreff Luerentzweiler for their generosity and support.
