
Luxembourgish singer Venant Arend has died at the age of 91. The news was reported by Radio100Komma7. A biography published on the website melusinapress.lu notes that the tenor studied in Paris and Salzburg.
Between the 1960s and the 1990s, he gave more than 50 concerts a year, took part in numerous musical ensembles and broadcasts, and also made several appearances on RTL.
He also acted in two films, namely 'Mumm Sweet Mumm' and 'Dammentour vun der Afo'.
Venant Arend was a teacher by profession.
