  • For the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, France has recorded more than 100,00 new Coronavirus infections over the span of a single day. Hospitalisations have doubled over the passed month, which is making it difficult for the French government to hold off a lockdown.
  • The Robert Koch Institute has recorded 10,100 new Coronavirus cases within the past 24 hours in Germany. 88 deaths were also reported in the same time period.
  • Champions Toulouse’s home game on Sunday with Stade Francais became the fourth Top 14 clash to be called off due to a surfeit of Covid-19 positive tests in the visiting club.
