Luxair has rescheduled its flights to Lisbon and Porto due to a nationwide general strike in Portugal.

Luxair has announced the postponement of its flights to Lisbon and Porto originally scheduled for Wednesday, 3 June, due to a large-scale general strike in Portugal. The decision was made following a reassessment of the situation in cooperation with partners, given the ongoing uncertainty surrounding operations in the country.

Lisbon and Porto – Flights postponed to 4 June

The following flights have been rescheduled to Thursday, 4 June

  • LG 3751 Luxembourg – Lisbon
  • LG 3752 Lisbon – Luxembourg
  • LG 3769 Luxembourg – Porto
  • LG 3770 Porto – Luxembourg

Passengers booked on these flights will be notified directly and rebooked automatically onto the new flights.

Faro and Funchal flights to operate as planned

Flights between Luxembourg and Faro, as well as Luxembourg and Funchal, are currently expected to operate as scheduled on Wednesday, 3 June:

  • LG 785 Luxembourg – Faro
  • LG 786 Faro – Luxembourg
  • LG 771 Luxembourg – Funchal
  • LG 772 Funchal – Luxembourg

However, Luxair warns that delays and longer waiting times may occur at the affected airports. Should there be any further changes to the situation, passengers will be contacted directly using the details provided at the time of booking.

Luxair recommends that passengers arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure and check the latest updates regarding their flights before travelling to the airport.
