On Wednesday morning, the weather service announced that a yellow alert would take place on Wednesday afternoon.
There will be a risk of thunderstorms between midday at 11.30pm, including wind gusts of up to 70 km/h and hailstorms.
The sky will remain cloudy for most of Wednesday alongside high temperatures reaching 28°C.
