Today’s update contains the data from Friday, Saturday and Sunday as the government has stopped releasing coronavirus figures over the weekend.
6,225 tests were conducted over the last 72 hours, yielding a positive rate of 11.79%.
There were 29 cases reported on Monday, 129 cases on Sunday, and 576 cases on Saturday.
Three new deaths from Covid-19 were reported, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 910.
There are 48 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, up three from the last update, with 20 patients in intensive care, up by two from Friday’s update.
As of today’s update there are 5,521 active infections in Luxembourg, while 93,286 people have recovered from the virus. The R rate was at 0.90.
460,918 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 1,044,975 doses have been administered in total. 441,910 people are fully vaccinated. 183,222 people have received an additional booster.
