Monday’s update contains the data from Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as the government has stopped releasing coronavirus figures on the weekend.
Of the 166 new cases, 4 were reported on Sunday.
No new deaths from Covid-19 was reported, leaving the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 834.
10,680 tests were conducted in total over the last 72 hours, with 597 in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate for yesterday was 0.67.
There are 28 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, down two from Friday’s update, with nine patients in intensive care (down by one).
As of today’s update, there are 1,066 active infections in Luxembourg, while 74,898 people have recovered from the virus.
412,758 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 773,622 doses have been administered in total. 397,532 people have been fully vaccinated as of the latest update.
As of yesterday, the R rate is at 0.99.
