The perpetrator was a resident who had been refused entry, and went on to methodically break all the glass windows and doors in retaliation.
Police arrived on site to ensure safety of those in the building. The vandal was charged for his actions.
The shelter has been open since 1 December 2019, belonging to the Ministry for Family Affairs and run by Caritas and Interactions.
