For reasons yet to be pinned down, a pickup truck went up in flames in the early hours of Monday afternoon on a street in Käerjeng. The road had to be temporarily closed to traffic while the fire was being brought under control.

An ACL bulletin issued at around 3.55pm read as follows.

"Vehicle fire on Avenue de Luxembourg in Käerjeng, near number 54. The road is closed. Avoid the area. Risk of traffic jams. As a result, traffic is currently heavier than usual on the A13, between Sanem and Le Biff."
