Store closuresVeritas and H&M to close in Gare district this summer

RTL Today
According to Paperjam, Veritas and H&M are expected to join a number of other shops closing down in the area around Luxembourg City's central train station.

Veritas, a textile store specialising in accessories and sewing equipment, has entered into liquidation. The five members of staff employed at the store will not be moved to another branch.

It has also been confirmed that the H&M branch on Avenue de la Gare will close in the near future.

The reason for the closures is the high rent in the area, although the confinement closures will not have helped matters.
It is worth noting that the jewellery and accessories store Claire's has not yet reopened, while the former premises of Yves Rocher or Hifi International are still unoccupied.
