Following the success of the 2024 edition held around Lake Echternach, this year’s event comes with a fresh name and location: the UNICEF City Run 2025, where people of all ages and backgrounds come together for a day of solidarity, fun, and support for children’s rights worldwide.

The event welcomes individuals, families, schools, and companies to participate in a 1.2-kilometer loop course that can be completed at any pace and as many times as participants choose. The start line will be located between the minigolf and skatepark areas.

The event opens at 11am, with the race starting at 1pm. Registration costs 20 euros per person and includes a race t-shirt for every participant.

Beyond the run itself, the UNICEF City Run offers a festive atmosphere with live music, children’s activities, food trucks, refreshing drinks, and various entertainment options throughout the afternoon, encouraging everyone to celebrate together long after crossing the finish line.

More importantly, every registration fee directly supports UNICEF’s global programs focused on education, health, nutrition, and child protection. Participants are also encouraged to create personalized fundraising pages, allowing them to set fundraising goals, engage friends and family, and track donations in real time. This collective effort amplifies the impact of each contribution, turning the event into a powerful platform for advocating children’s rights.

Our friends at Today Radio – who will be present at the event – had a lovely chat with the organizers, which you can check out here.

For registration, fundraiser organization, donations or further information, you can visit the official website at cityrun.lu.

You will also be able to register at the event location on 5 July.
