RTL SportTom Flammang appointed Head of Sports in organisational reshuffle

Since 1 May, Tom Flammang has taken up his position as new Head of Sports and succeeded Lucien Linster, who will now begin his well-deserved retirement after 37 years within RTL Luxembourg.

As Head of the RTL Sport team, Tom Flammang’s mission is to oversee all sport information activities for radio, TV, and digital media within RTL Luxembourg. Besides defining, planning, and coordinating the topics to be covered, Tom Flammang will continue to work as a sport journalist and TV presenter.

About Tom Flammang

In 1999, Tom Flammang (41 years old) started his career as an elite sportsman in the Luxembourg Army before joining the Cofidis team in 2000. During his career as a professional racing cyclist, the Luxembourg sportsman won several titles, including Luxembourg Road Champion in 1998 and Luxembourg Cyclocross Champion in 2004. In 2008, RTL Luxembourg called upon his expertise in cycling to co-present various sports programs. Before joining RTL as a sports journalist in 2017, Tom Flammang was appointed Sport Director of the Leopard Development Team back in 2014.
