Returning from a school trip to Australia last weekend, 35 students and three teachers from the Jean-XXIII school complex in Montigny-lès-Metz have been confined to their homes.

The group had a stopover in Singapore, and, according to Republican Lorrain, the students must remain confined for two weeks and their temperature must be continuously monitored as precautionary measures.

No other specific instructions were issued to them apart from ensuring that they are washing their hands thoroughly.

According to DNA tests, a case of coronavirus contamination was identified this Wednesday morning in Strasbourg, when a 36-year-old man was hospitalized.
