Bausch was first asked about the moral aspects of not wanting to get vaccinated against Covid-19. She explained that this represents an immensely complex issue, as one has to consider both human rights and protection. She concluded that there is no right answer to the question.
It is scientifically proven that the vast majority of vaccinations around the globe were not followed by any complications, Bausch noted, saying: “Vaccines are the only way to get us out of the situation.”
At the same time, she showed understanding for people’s reluctance and desire to wait a little longer before getting the jab.
When asked about testing, Bausch stated that there is no reasonable justification for not doing so. The 3G rule is an offer of meeting unvaccinated people halfway, she explained.
Bausch finally underlined the importance of maintaining a healthy dialogue with vaccine sceptics. When personal freedom is attacked, she noted, people tend to shut everything else out.
