Although repercussions from inflation, the energy crisis, and the war in Ukraine are impacting the state finances, the measures decided by the administration have created room to manoeuvre.

The unitary state therefore currently shows a surplus of €969 million, which is expected to shrink due to the tripartite measures.

The Chamber commissions also debated a recent proposal from the Christian Social People’s Party (CSV) to introduce tax reliefs for sustainable PME investments.
