The trail starts at the chapel of Saint-Roch, where there is a small car park, on the outskirts of the village of Reimberg.
The Seven Bridges Way is, as you might expect from the name, marked by numerous bridges. There are in fact more than seven, although many consist just of some stones and wood, dotting the landscape along streams and brooks. At some points along the trail there are a few steps, but otherwise it is quiet and low-effort.
The highlight of the tour is the "Schankegriecht" valley in the forest, which takes its name from a creepy local legend. The "Schankemännchen", or the bone man, is said to have haunted village residents.
Spooky apparitions aside, the trail is an elegant, simple experience, perfect for switching off and enjoying the Grand Duchy's nature at its best. It's relatively short too at just ninety minutes.
The Seven Bridges Way is just one of 11 trails around the Guttland region, which invite walkers to take things slowly and soak in their surroundings.
