At 9.50am on Thursday, a break-in was reported at a property in Itzig. A police patrol responded to the call, catching two individuals in the act of robbing the house. Both were arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office, and were subsequently brought before an investigating judge.

Later, in the evening, at around 8.10pm, a robbery was reported at the Schueberfouer funfair in Luxembourg City. A man grabbed a card reader from his victim's hand and ran away. Police conducted a search but were ultimately unsuccessful in locating the perpetrator.

Another theft was reported at 11.40pm in the Gare district of the capital, where the victim was approached by a man, who then went on to rip her handbag from her hands and ran away.

An investigation into both incidents was launched.
